Ore Mountains

The Ore Mountains are sure to fascinate you with their unique atmosphere. The flat ridge of the mountains stretches from Děčín all the way to Cheb and is divided between the Czech Republic and Germany. In terms of tourism, they offer great terrain for hiking or biking and unique sights commemorating medieval metal extraction and mining (for example in Mikulov and Krupka).

Several areas offer the possibility to try downhill skiing in the winter months. Near to Teplice, these are Bouřňák, Telnice and Klíny. When there is sufficient snow cover, many kilometers of cross-country skiing trails are prepared for skiers in Dlouhá Louka, Nové Město, Klíny and Telnice.
